FROM EXPLANATORY BOUNDARY TO ONTOLOGY

Divine Physics and Existential Physics

Divine Physics examines the boundary where science, metaphysics, consciousness, and theological possibility meet. Its inquiry develops through anomaly → pattern → architecture.

Existential Physics follows the inquiry deeper, asking what underlying ontology makes mechanisms, laws, causality, mathematics, consciousness, order, and intelligibility possible at all. Its governing turn is from architecture toward constitutive conditions and ontology.

Holistic Origins Worldview (HOW) compares whole worldview structures, placing material reality within consciousness and consciousness within transcendent reality. It remains a distinct foundational framework rather than an alias for either DP or EP.

The beginning of our universe and the ultimate origin of existence are related questions—but they are not the same question. Changing the proposed mechanism changes the cosmology; it does not automatically eliminate the ontology.

Divine Physics — Volume I

The Intersection of Faith, Science, and the Human Psyche

The science–faith integrative framework of the collection, examining the boundary where empirical science, cosmology, consciousness, mathematics, metaphysics, theology, and the human psyche meet. Its characteristic movement is from observation through anomaly and pattern toward disciplined explanatory comparison—not a replacement for science or a conventional predictive scientific theory.

Divine Physics — Volume II

The Intersection of Faith, Science, and the Human Psyche

The second volume extends the science–faith framework through the Divine Equation, divine mathematics, consciousness, natural law, convergence, and in-situ and ex-situ influence. Θ(t) functions here as a symbolic and metaphysical representation for exploring divine intentionality or influence across time—not as an experimentally established force or physical constant.

Existential Physics — Volumes I & II

The Ontological Structure of Reality, Consciousness, and Order

A distinct two-volume work asking what reality must be like for existence, law, causation, consciousness, relation, mathematics, order, and intelligibility to be possible at all. It moves from mechanisms within reality to their constitutive conditions, distinguishing the beginning of our universe from the ultimate origin of existence. Where Divine Physics examines the boundary at which science, metaphysics, consciousness, and theological possibility meet, Existential Physics asks what underlying ontology makes that entire boundary possible.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

William W. Collins

William W. Collins is a multidisciplinary author, independent researcher, philosopher, and technologist/technology executive whose work explores the intersections of science, faith, philosophy, psychology, consciousness, and the human experience. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine, with a minor in Biology. His professional career spans more than fifteen years of leadership across product and software development, cloud and enterprise systems, artificial intelligence and machine learning, engineering, and technology innovation.

The Watershed Collection brings these disciplines into a connected architecture of nonfiction and fiction examining origins, reality, belief, consciousness, cosmology, metaphysics, morality, meaning, myth, identity, love, relationships, society, and the consequences of artificial intelligence. Rather than treating these subjects as isolated fields, Collins traces their dependencies, tensions, and convergences, offering readers a holistic lense through which to examine existence, human nature, and what it means to become.

A lifelong outdoorsman and adventurer, Collins has surfed since his youth and also pursues fly fishing and fly tying, bowhunting, and global travel. These pursuits reflect the patience, attention, balance, curiosity, and respect for the natural world and human experience that also shape his writing and research.
